Cookie Policy

Effective June 13, 2026

This policy describes the cookies and browser storage UCFYX uses. The short version: we use the minimum needed to keep you signed in and remember your theme — and nothing for advertising or tracking.

1. About this policy

This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar browser-storage technologies UCFYX uses. We've written it to reflect how the platform actually works today. Importantly, UCFYX relies mostly on browser storage rather than traditional cookies, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking technologies.

2. What we use, and why

To keep you signed in and remember your preferences, UCFYX stores a small amount of information in your browser using standard web-storage mechanisms (localStorage) rather than cookies. Specifically:

  • Sign-in token: when you log in, your browser keeps a session token so you stay signed in between page loads and visits without re-entering your password each time. Signing out removes it.
  • Theme preference: your choice of dark or light mode is saved so the platform looks the way you left it.

3. These are essential

The sign-in token is strictly necessary for the platform to function — without it, you could not stay logged in. The theme preference is a functional convenience. Neither is used to track you across other websites, and neither is shared with advertisers, because UCFYX has none.

4. Third-party sign-in

If you choose to sign in with Google, Google's own identity service may set its own cookies in your browser as part of its sign-in process. Those cookies are controlled by Google and governed by Google's policies, not ours. If you never use Google sign-in, this does not apply to you.

5. Managing browser storage

You can clear UCFYX's browser storage at any time through your browser's settings (clearing site data for the UCFYX domain). Doing so will sign you out and reset your theme preference. Because the sign-in token is essential, the platform cannot keep you logged in if you block all site storage.

6. Future analytics

UCFYX does not currently use analytics or performance-measurement cookies. If we introduce analytics in the future, we will update this policy to describe exactly what is used before it takes effect, and where required we will ask for your consent.

7. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the platform changes. The effective date above reflects the latest version. Questions can be sent to support@ucfyx.com.
